Yay…! It’s Valentine’s day, a great day to begin, share & cherish your love! I was so glad to see the curious responses from everyone when yesterday I gave you a heads up about an exciting news!
Well, I am so excited to share my deep love for DriveThruHR aka #DTHR! Ask me why? Well, there are a lot of reasons but foremost… Now starts an exciting chapter in my HR + Blogging career!
I am so thrilled & delighted to announce that I am joining the DriveThruHR team, Human Resource’s #1 Daily Radio show, as a Co-host! Isn’t it cool?
And don’t forget to tune in my first show as co-host- Nisha Raghavan talks with DriveThruHR‘ on 15th February at 12.p.m CT.
I know #DTHR is so popular and well-known in the HR community in United States as majority of the established people in HR/Recruiting/Leadership space have already appeared as a guest and shared their insights with us.
So for those of you don’t know about #DTHR, especially for my friends & readers in India and across the world, here are some nuggets!
DriveThruHR was designed to be a captivating and easy-to-digest lunch discourse that covers topics relevant to HR professionals. Aired its first show in early 2010 co-hosted by two of my awesome friends Bryan Wempen (Founder) & William Tincup. Each 30-minute episode features a guest speaker who shares her or his knowledge and experience in human resources. #DTHR hosts and special guest cover a wealth of topics, including HR Technology, Recruiting, Talent Management, Leadership, Organizational Culture and Strategic HR, every day at 12:00 pm Central Time.
Wait, I am not done yet! The show is famous for its friendly and spontaneous conversations putting the guest under the spot light and asking questions about everything in the HR realm. What began as a way for the hosts to learn more about “what keeps HR professionals up at night” has grown into a popular internet radio show that thousands of HR professionals tune in for the latest news and happenings in human resources. Check out the website to listen, like us on Facebook, follow on twitters @drivethruhr & #DTHR
I am so humbled and grateful for this amazing opportunity to work with two great HR thought leaders and speakers like Bryan Wempen & William Tincup.
I hope I can keep up with your expectations! Share your thoughts to our twitters @bryanwempen, @williamtincup @thehrbuddy and use this hashtag #DTHRLOVESNISHA
Why should you listen to DriveThruHR!
Every time I tune in to DriveThruHR I always learn something new from diverse experiences that people share related to their work (HR), career & business which helps me look at HR from a broader perspective. Every day the conversation is different and distinct just like how unique we people and our experiences are.
When speaker talks about latest trends, listening to their conversation makes me aware of all the cutting edge factors and helps me know what’s next in the HR profession. Sometimes I question my thoughts too. Putting these together, most of the times, I gained a first-mover advantage at my blog when I wrote what I learned from listening to the shows.
Other than that, you can learn about how HR works in a different industry than yours, How do they deal various challenges in their organization, Have they found it successful in using the latest tools, techniques & HR software, role of HR in building an organization’s Culture etc.
Most important is the opportunity to connect with all the speakers by sparking a conversation at #DTHR hashtag on what they talk about and building a relationship from there!
So I am sure you will enjoy it!
So wish me luck and stay tuned to hear me talk at DriveThruHR.
